There was a certain man in this city boasting like a politician that his dog could run at breakneck speed. He sounded like a good candidate.

He was very persuasive when he boasted that his dog was the fastest dog in the community; however when the dog failed to catch the rabbit, the community became doubtful of his candidacy.

Yet, as a politician he told the community the reason his dog didn’t catch the rabbit was because his dog was only running for his dinner, but the rabbit on the other hand was running for his life!

As I read Sunday election (stories) which were all over the front page and throughout Sunday’s paper, I was impressed by those only running for their dinners but not for the life of this city as a whole. They talk good, but their dogs failed to catch the rabbits!
