ACCESS Inc., a teen pregnancy prevention agency, located at 200 W. 13th Ave., is in need of formula (Enfamil with iron), childrenís clothing from size 0 to 4 and baby furniture, especially baby beds and car seats. For more information or someone to pick up your items, call 535-1302 between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

American Red Cross is in need of volunteers to fill a variety of positions, compassionate people willing to help those in need due to natural disasters. These people will be trained before being sent to the disaster scene. Other opportunities include working with the Red Cross youth group or as receptionist in the Red Cross office to answer the phone, greet, sort mail, etc. Call Donna Booth Johnson at the American Red Cross office at 870-534-7312 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Arkansas Convalescent Center is asking for volunteers to assist in activities with the residents such as Bingo, crafts, reading stories, playing chess, dominoes, and others. Anyone interested may call Demetrius Thomas at 870-534-8153 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Arkansas Hospice volunteer opportunities are available in direct patient care, office assistance, speakerís bureau, bereavement team and pet therapy. Training is provided. Information is available by calling Pam Warren at 870-850-6195 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The Boys and Girls Club of Jefferson County is seeking volunteers for its tutorial program, which extends through the summer. Volunteers are needed to tutor in all subjects for children ages 6 to 13 in grades one through six.
