The National Weather Service is keeping a close eye on Hurricane Isaac and its potential to cause hazardous weather conditions in Arkansas.
Forecasters are watching weather conditions closely because of the potential for heavy rains, high winds, flash floods and tornadoes.

• A FLASH FLOOD WARNING reissued for Jefferson County, northwestern Arkansas County and northwestern Lincoln County — effective through 9:30 p.m. Friday.
• 1:27 p.m. Friday a FLASH FLOOD WATCH has been issued for Jefferson and Lincoln counties and much of the state. The watch is in effect through 1 p.m. Saturday.

The Red Cross has set up a flooding evacuation point for Pine Bluff at the United Pentecostal Church, 7745 Sheridan Road. Anyone who needs a place to get out of the weather or wait until they can safely get back to their home can go there.
