Former Pine Bluff journalist Regina D. Gulley, also known as R&B/Hip-Hop soul singer and recording artist, Gina Gee, will release her debut album "Evolution of a Woman" on May 15.
Former Pine Bluff journalist Regina D. Gulley, also known as R&B/Hip-Hop soul singer and recording artist, Gina Gee, will release her debut album “Evolution of a Woman” on May 15.
A graduate of the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, Gulley is also a former writer at The Commercial.
“Evolution of a Woman/The Return of Real R&B Album Release Party” is scheduled for May 18 at Big Whiskey’s American Bar & Grill, 225 E. Markham St., Little Rock.
“‘Evolution of a Woman’ is a unique personal project designed to connect with women on the levels of love, heartache, and conflict-often experienced while in romantic relationships and in life, and how those situations make them stronger to evolve over time,” Gee said.
Executive produced by Ferocious of Ferocious Productions, the 14-track debut album features appearances by illustrious emcee, Epiphany and additional musical contributions by SizzTheproducer, Finess, X2C, Maria Hampton, Don Blaze, Dave Harmony, Ashley Evans, Felicia Craig, Miles Parker, and Lucas “Cool Hands” Murray.
Copies of the album will be available at the release party. Her music will also be available on iTunes, Spotify, and CdBaby.
