Donald E. Frizzell, 90, of Pine Bluff, died Wednesday, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center.

Donald E. Frizzell, 90, of Pine Bluff, died Wednesday, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center.

He was born March 18, 1922 in Brummitt to the late L.B. and Alma Marian Tipton Frizzell. He was the retired owner of Frizzell Trucking Company in Pine Bluff, and a US Army Veteran of World War II, having been stationed in Saipan. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Star City, and a member of the Branchville Masonic Lodge.

Also preceding him in death was his wife, Helen Bond Frizzell; two sons, Terry Wayne Frizzell, Donald Bond Frizzell; three brothers, Burnice Frizzell, J.T. Frizzell, Nelson Frizzell and two sisters, Zenobie Goggans, Margie James.

Survivors include one son, Gary Frizzell and wife Regina of Pine Bluff; one daughter, Linda Wilson of Fayetteville; three brothers, William H. “Bill” Frizzell of Star City, Johnnie Frizzell of Alabama, Charles Frizzell of Sherwood; five grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

Graveside Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, April 28, 2012 at Leek Cemetery in Star City with Bro. Charles McBryde officiating. Visitation will be 9:00-10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Arrangements by Griffin Funeral Service in Star City. Online obituary at www.griffinfuneralservice.net.
