On Oct. 4 at 7 a.m., a two-vehicle accident was reported on Carriage Court, south of U.S. 270.


Timothy Smith of White Hall said he was backing out of his driveway at 110 Carriage Court. He said he did not see the other vehicle parked on the east side of the street as he was backing out and struck the other vehicle’s side rear bumper and tail light assembly.


Damages to the 2012 Nissan driven by Smith was estimated at $500.


The owner of the other vehicle, Amanda Jones of White Hall, said she was at a yard sale and not in her vehicle at the time of the accident. She had parked her vehicle on the east side of Carriage Court facing north in front of 111 Carriage Court.


Damage to the 2102 GMC owned by Jones was estimated at $1,700.


On Oct. 7, the White Hall Police Department was notified that a Pine Bluff police officer had Irean W. Harris of Pine Bluff in custody on a warrant from White Hall for failure to appear with a bond of $855. The warrant was faxes to the adult detention center.


There were no citations issued. On Oct. 8, the White Hall Police Department was notified that Eddie Jean Lee of Pine Bluff was in custody of the Pine Bluff Police Department on a misdemeanor warrant from White Hall for failure to comply with a bond of $1,100. The warrant was faxed to the adult detention center.


On Oct. 11, the White Hall Police Department was notified that a Pine Bluff police officer had Rachel M. Thomas of Pine Bluff in custody on a warrant for failure to comply with a bond of $615. The warrant was faxed to the adult detention center.


On Oct. 11, Officer Robert Rogers was sent to 1601 Claud Road in reference to a theft report. Rebecca Rauls reported that she heard her car alarm going off and when she went outside to check, found paperwork from her vehicle on the ground. She also reported that a black rain/wind jacket, a flashlight, loose change and a fray zip-up jacket were missing.


Rogers reported that about 30 minutes later, he was sent to try and locate two males who were walking south on Interstate 530 in the area of mile marker 34. According to the report, he located the males, and saw one of them, Miguel Crisostomo, 22, wearing a black jacket that matched the description of the jacket reported stolen from the vehicle on Claud Road.


Crisostomo told police he and his 7-year-old brother had been to a party in Redfield and their ride left them so they were walking back to Warren where they lived. He also admitted going into the vehicle and taking the jacket and other items. He returned all the property taken except the flashlight, which he said he threw away because it didn’t work.


He was issued misdemeanor citations for theft of property and criminal trespass and released to family members.
