University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff senior guard Rashad Williams has been named a second-team HBCU All-American by BOXTOROW.

This is the latest of several recent end-of-season accolades for Williams, who was also named SWAC Newcomer of the Year and all-SWAC second team. He was also selected for the HBCU All-Star Game in Phoenix.

He ranked third in the SWAC in scoring with 17.7 points per game. He ranked third nationally in 3-pointers per game with 3.59.

His best performance as a Golden Lion came Feb. 17, when he scored 33 points against Alabama State in his return from a wrist injury. He made 7 of 14 shots from 3-point range to go with 10 assists in an 80-74 UAPB road win.

SWAC Player of the Year Ken Evans of Jackson State, PJ Henry of Texas Southern and Jeremiah Kendall of Alcorn State were named first-team HBCU All-Americans. On the second team, Williams is joined by Rayquan Brown of Mississippi State, Kintavious Dozier of Grambling State and Zion Harmon of Bethune-Cookman.

The other seven players on the two All-American teams hail from the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference.

UAPB was Williams' fourth school. He began his career at Cleveland State before transferring to Oakland, then Saint Louis. He then transferred to UAPB, sitting out the 2022-23 season before playing this past year.
